When I began thinking critically and conceptually about how I was going to portray the research and experimentation of my art practice, I came to the conclusion that spontaneity and development were the main reasons for my outcomes. Mark making through exploration of our senses lead me to a place of vibrancy and continuous discovery. The content of my work is based on space weather and the space around us and what I hear and how it makes me feel. 

There is something about the consistency of paint and how it transfers onto materials that fascinates me so much. The act of letting go and not focusing on the outcome of an art piece has played a large role in my process throughout my time with World of Co and I believe it creates a playful and therapeutic art practice for me. The name Balance comes from the aligning working progress that has conscious decision making and spontaneity when researching and mark-making.
